Astronomy on Tap T.O.

Quench your thirst for astronomy with us at The Great Hall in Toronto! These are exciting evenings of pints, astronomy news, mind-expanding talks, games, prizes, and snazzy Dunlap merchandise!

Following the talks, there is plenty of time to have all your cosmic questions answered by astronomers from the Dunlap Institute and the University of Toronto.

We’ll announce talk topics and more details closer to the date. We also have ASL services at this event for individuals who are Deaf and hard of hearing.

When and where:

Astronomy on Tap is usually held on Fridays, a few times a year, at the Great Hall, 1087 Queen Street West, Toronto (near Ossington & Queen)

Astronomy on Tap T.O. is sponsored and organized by the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics with the participation of astronomers from the David A. Dunlap Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics, University of Toronto.

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land. For more information.
