Seery Chen is a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Roberto Abraham.
Her work includes designing and constructing the 120-lens narrow-band imaging upgrade of the Dragonfly Telephoto Array called “Dragonfly Spectral Line Mapper.” She will use this instrument to study the distribution of diffuse gas around galaxies, the inflow/outflow properties of galaxies, and how the circumgalactic medium of galaxies interacts with the larger “cosmic web.”
She received a BSc in Honours Physics from McGill University in 2019.
