Prof. Paul Scholz

My research focuses on searching for and characterising pulsars, which are highly-magnetised, fast-spinning neutron stars, using observations from radio and X-ray telescopes. I use X-ray observatories, such as Swift, Chandra, and XMM-Newton, as well as radio telescopes to study high-magnetic field pulsars and magnetars. I also am involved with the PALFA survey to find radio pulsars using the Arecibo telescope.
