Dr. Ryan Dungee

Dr. Ryan Dungee is a Dunlap Instrumentation fellow that specializes in adaptive optics control systems, atmospheric tomography, and gyrochronology. Lately he has been working on a new method for tomographic reconstruction that incorporates techniques from predictive control, utilizing the time history of wavefront sensor measurements to extract tomographic information. He is a part of the SHARP Imaging Lab and will be working on machine learning applications in AO as well as building turbulence profiling instrumentation.
