Future Plans for the Balloon-borne Imaging Testbed

The BIT project is the first step in an effort to open up the application of balloon-borne telescopes to wide field, high resolution imaging in the UV/optical bands.

Questions to consider for the AID discussion:
1) What would you do with such an instrument?
2) What bands should we have?

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land. For more information.
