New Horizons of Exploration

Image converted using ifftoanyFor thousands of years, humans have studied the heavens from the confines of the Earth. In the last century, however, we have begun sending both people and machines to other worlds. Where have we gone, and what discoveries have we made?

Experience these voyages of discovery for yourself, in this fascinating planetarium show presented live by a U of T astronomer. Find out where we’ve gone and what we’ve learned—from the first tentative steps during the Space Race, to the first-ever flyby of Pluto by the New Horizons spacecraft (scheduled for July 14, 2015!).

There are three show times: 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00pm.
