Imagining the Size of the Universe

hs-2000-07-b-webThere are many misconceptions about our Universe and the most common one is also the simplest: its size. Our Universe is much bigger than we imagine it to be, and only through visual aids (such as a planetarium) can we really grasp the true dimension of it.

Find out how big the Universe really is in this mind-expanding planetarium show presented live by a U of T astronomer. You’ll explore the Universe at every scale, starting with the moon and the Earth, and ending in the furthest reaches of the cosmos.

There are three show times: 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00pm.
