Dr. Nicolas Crouzet

Nicolas Crouzet’s research focuses on instrumentation, observation and data analysis related to the search for and characterization of transiting exoplanets.

This includes photometric observations with ASTEP South: the Antarctic Search for Transiting ExoPlanets around the Celestial South Pole; and the XO Project which searches for transiting exoplanets with several telescopes in the Northern hemisphere.

He is also characterizing exoplanet atmospheres using spectroscopic observations obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope.

Nicolas received his PhD from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France, in 2010. He held a postdoctoral position at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore MD, before arriving at the Dunlap Institute in January 2014.
