Application Deadline Extended for 2020 Dunlap Institute Summer School

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(January 21) – The Dunlap Institute has extended the application deadline for the 2020 Dunlap Institute Summer School. The new deadline is Friday, January 31.

Full information can be found here.

The Dunlap Institute Summer School is an introduction to astronomical instrumentation that is internationally renowned. The dates for the 2020 summer school are June 21-June 26, inclusive. The school includes both lectures and labs, and is intended for students who have finished at least their third year of an undergraduate program, or are in the early years of a graduate program. It is best suited for those who have a background in astronomy, physics, or engineering.

Please note that while the Dunlap Institute is able to provide travel support to some students, we encourage students to explore sources of funding from their own institution or country as well. Many universities offer student travel support in the form of bursaries, grants or scholarships. This support is often available through a local Dean’s office, Faculty office, graduate student union or school of graduate studies.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
