Setting up an account on iTelescope.net is very easy. In fact, it has already been done for you by your instructor.
By now, you should have obtained a confirmation email containing your iTelescope login information (username and password). In case you have missed or didn't receive this email, or if it went to your spam folder, you will be given this information during the first class. The e-mail would have come from support@itelescope.net. Make sure your e-mail client isn't marking e-mails from that address as spam.
We have assigned 100 observing points initially. Once your observing project has been approved, an appropriate number of observing points will be added to your account, if needed.
Once your account is set up, you can feel free to poke around on the iTelescope.net site, but you must wait until after the first class to attempt your first observation with the telescopes.
