Student Blog – Observations

The Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics is dedicated to providing world-class training, mentoring, research opportunities, and career experience to undergraduate and graduate students in the astronomy program offered by the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Toronto.

The Observations blog is a record—in their own words and images—of the experiences of students receiving support from the Dunlap to work at observatories and institutes around the world.

In 2016, students were in Durban, South Africa to work on the HIRAX radio telescope array; in Hawaii to attend the Dunlap Mauna Kea Graduate School in Hawaii; and elsewhere pursuing their careers.

You can keep up with the students by following Observations and by following them on their travels on Instagram.
