Tomás Cassanelli is a PhD candidate at the David A. Dunlap Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics. His Ph.D thesis focuses on using Very Long Baseline Interferometry between CHIME and ARO to localize Fast Radio Bursts, which are transient radio phenomena. He is a member of the CHIME/FRB Collaboration and the CHIME/FRB Outriggers Project.
