Dr. Tessa Vernstrom

Tessa Vernstrom’s research involves studying the faint extragalactic radio sky and what it can tell us about galaxy types, galaxy evolution, and structure formation. At the Dunlap, Tessa works with Prof. Bryan Gaensler on radio polarimetry and cosmic magnetism projects such as measuring the radio emission from the cosmic web using data from the Murchinson Widefield Array.

Tessa received her PhD from UBC in 2015 and joined the Dunlap Institute in September 2015.
