Daniela Breitman

Daniela Breitman is a Masters student in the Department of Physics. As a member of the CHIME/FRB Collaboration, her MSc thesis focuses on the study of fast radio bursts through the analysis of a large sample of high-resolution raw data detected by CHIME/FRB. Her analysis consists in producing a distribution of FRB burst widths with the goal of constraining possible FRB emission mechanisms.

Before starting her Masters with Keith Vanderlinde, Daniela graduated with an Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics at McGill.
