Dana Simard

Dana is a fourth-year graduate student. She graduated from Queen’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Physics with Honours in 2014, and also holds a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Toronto.

Dana is working with Prof. Ue-Li Pen, using pulsars to probe small (AU-scale) structures in the interstellar medium. These structures bend light from the pulsar, creating multiple images of the pulsar on the sky, which can then be used for high-resolution study of the pulsar itself.

Supervisor: Prof. Ue-Li Pen
